1. What age did you start dancing?

I started dancing when I was 2 years old and competing when I was 5.
2. What is the best advice you have ever been given?
I would probably say that an important piece of advice I’ve been given is that every one improves at different paces so don’t compare yourself to others.
3. What item can you never seem to cross off your to do list?
I am homeschooled, so personally it’s hard to start working on my school work, but once I get started it’s easy to keep going.
4. What is one thing people are surprised to learn about you?
I think something kind of surprising about me is that I like to joke around a lot and make people laugh. But when you first meet me I seem super quiet.
5. What is one thing you know now that you wish you knew when you were younger?
Hmm this is a hard one, I would give my younger self a lot of advice but probably the biggest piece of advice I’d give myself is that you can’t impress everyone so find the people that are here to love and support you.
6. What is the one thing used most in your dance bag?
I think my most used item would be my ballet shoes. Maybe my half soles or socks?
7. Favorite variation?
The first variation I’ve competed was La Fille Mal Gardee so that has a special place in my heart, although my favorite one to watch is probably La Esmeralda.
8. What are you obsessed with at the moment?
Recently I’ve loved choreographing and coming up with unique ideas. I’m hoping next year I can put a self choreographed solo on the stage!
9. What’s the last thing you watched on TV or Netflix?
I love watching Outdaughtered!
10. What’s more challenging, solo or ensemble?
Personally, I’d say an ensemble. If you asked me a few years ago I would have said solo but I’ve developed a very particular skill set in the last few years and I love to showcase it in solos.
11. What reality show would you join the cast?
Dance Moms!  Fun Fact: I actually know a lot of the cast!
12. How many Bobby pins are in your bun?
Around 30-40 depending on the day.
13. If you weren’t a dancer, what would you choose as a career?
I would definitely choose modeling! I have modeled in the past and absolutely love it!

14. What do you LOVE about Dance Etc.?

My favorite part about Dance Etc. is that I know the staff members always have the best for me in mind and that I can always find the products I want!
